Eleanor's Birthday & Family Vacation

We celebrated Eleanor's birthday party on August 7th with the family at my parents house. We had a BBQ, went swimming, played games & just had a good time :) Thank you everyone who helped make her party so special, and a big THANK YOU to my parents who hosted such a lovely first birthday party!

The Zimmerman clan went to wine country for a week in August for some down time and relaxing. We went wine tasting, swimming, played washers & just relaxed!! It was a nice getaway and everyone had a great time :)

Summer Update

It's already July and we are having such a great summer! We have been busy taking stroller walks, swimming in my parents pool, and just taking it easy! Michael just finished his internship, so we have 3 weeks together before he goes back to school :) YAY! We are excited to relax as a family and simply enjoy hanging out. Eleanor's first birthday is right around the corner, so we are in "party planning" mode. We are having a family party next Sunday at my parents house, then celebrating her big day the following Tuesday. I can't believe she is turning 1 already!! Eleanor has grown and changed so much and it has been a year of learning, laughing & LOVING! I can't wait for more memories and fun times as our sweet little girl grows and explores the world :) We love her so much!

Summertime...and the livings' easy...

We have already had so much fun this summer and are looking forward to many more summertime memories with Eleanor. Our 8Th wedding anniversary is July 3rd and Michael & I both LOVE the 4Th of July. I was on bedrest the last two years for both events, so we are very excited to be healthy, happy & full of life!!

Ron LOVES Eleanor & Eleanor LOVES Ron!! They are best friends and Ron is never far from her side. He is such a sweet cat & tolerates Eleanor's frequent petting (& hair pulling!)

Aunt Abby & Uncle Todd visited last weekend & helped celebrate my parents
40Th wedding anniversary. We stayed overnight at my parent's house and had so much fun with everyone. Eleanor swam in their pool for the first time & had a BLAST! She is an absolute fish & loves the water!

Eleanor & I have been hanging out together during the day while Michael is busy working. We miss him a lot, but have been keeping busy in the kiddie pool on the back patio :)



With much anticipation, we celebrated Michael's first Father's Day as a Dad. I have been pregnant for the past two Father's Days, so this year was "heaven sent". The three of us had a very relaxing afternoon together, then my parents came over for a home cooked meal. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing baby girl & Father's Day was a great day to reflect the joy that she brings us everyday :)



Eleanor's cousin, Emma, turned two on June 18Th. The older kids had a blast going down the slide while the little babies played in the kiddie pool. Braden is 8 months old and such a sweet little man :)




The president of Eleanor's fan club is Grammie Janet! She is also Eleanor's babysitter on Fridays and doing such a great job! She even brings her to my work so I can nurse her in the afternoon. What a babysitter!! Thank you so much Mom...we love you :)

Not too much has been happening with us, but I thought I would post a few pictures from this week. Michael has been busy working at his internship while Eleanor and I (& Grammie) go shopping, eat lunch out, and take walks. Tough life huh?! I have off from work this weekend so we are looking forward to time together as a family and spoiling Michael, who is the best dad in world!

Michael had 3 weeks off between law school finals and his internship and we had so much fun hanging out with him! We went to gymnastics, walks around the neighborhood, & just plain had fun! He is back to work now and we REALLY miss him! We have been busy, however, hanging out with Grammie (who now babysits on Friday) and Aunt Alexa :) We miss you, Aunt Abby!!

Eleanor is 9 months old and has recently graduated to a "big girl" stroller. The travel system stroller that we previously used was beginning to be too heavy for me, so I upgraded to this sleek lightweight one! I LOVE it and highly recommend it! After I loaded Eleanor up and snaps a few photos, I noticed she was color coordinated! A little ridiculous but kinda cute :)
